How can I search words?
Words can be usually searched from the search page, unless the owner of this dictionary has renamed it. Depending on the homepage it may also be possible to look it up from there.
Can I add words?
Sorry, but you cannot add words to our dictionary unless the Administrator (owner) adds you as an Administrator, in which case you will be able to add words to the dictionary.
Can I edit words?
No, currently editing words is not possible. If you are the administrator, you can remove an existing word and add a more proper one instead.
Who can add words?
At the moment, only an administrator of the dictionary can add new words. In future, there will be additional groups called 'Moderators' and 'Linguists' and their members will be able to add words.
Can I log in?
Anyone with credentials (login details) can login. At the moment, those are only administrators. Unless you are one of them, you can’t login.
Can I register
Sorry, but at the moment we are not accepting new members. You can contact the owner and apply to become an administrator.
Where do I login?
If you are an administrator, you can use the link in the navigation bar that says “Login”. Alternatively, you can follow this link directly.
How to check if I’m logged in?
If you are logged in, the navigation bar will display a logout link, a link to the administrative panel and your username should be visible. If you see a Login link, you are not logged in.
Will I be able to register in future?
Yes, a release soon to come will highly likely contain a more sophisticated members system where anybody will be able to login or register.
I found an abusive word in the dictionary!
You should be able to contact the administrator of the forum using the “Contact” link in the navigation bar. If they refuse to remove the word, you can attempt to contact their host.
How does this dictionary function?
This dictionary is based on the MyVocabtionary project. It makes use of PHP and MySQL.
Why isn’t there X option on this dictionary?
Dictionaries powered by MyVocabtionary are constantly under development as we want to keep our customers happy. It is possible that a certain function is not available yet, but it may just already be in the process of becoming standard.
Can I also create a dictionary?
Of course! Simply go to SourceForge repository and download it from there! The setup is easy!
